Spencer Owen takes bedroom recording to a whole new dimension, producing music that is simultaneously familiar and unique, naive and sophisticated. Imagine tuning a radio to your favorite pop station from within a lucid dream – Spencer's eccentric, and relentlessly catchy music would flow with ease from those subconscious speakers.

Spencer is a superb crafter of melody, a deft hand at arrangement, a gifted percussionist, and he is able to play nearly every instrument known to man. Since 2003 he has written and recorded over twenty full-length albums, on which he is the sole performer, playing all the instruments.

Gnome Life has released one LP by Spencer Owen, and he has contributed significantly to many of the Gnome Life albums by Bird By Snow and Sean Smith.
