Yurt

Yurt makes fake traditional music. Old instruments, melodies, rhythms, and practices are gathered up in a pine-needle basket. These are anthropological recordings of a primal interior culture. Grab a pick axe, a magic talisman, and some headphones and come on down to Yurt's psycho-spiritual excavation site.

Yurt is the instrumental/experimental work of Fletcher Tucker (also of Bird By Snow). Far out and far in music. Gnome Life has released one cassette tape of solo jaw harp recordings by Yurt. More work is forthcoming.
