"Womb of Light" by Fletcher Tucker – 7" EP (with hand-painted jackets)
SOLD OUT.
This 7” EP, Fletcher Tucker’s second release since dropping the Bird By Snow moniker in 2012, is comprised of two texturally dense and atmospherically transportive songs. Both tracks were recorded on tape, in a decomposing school bus, abandoned in the forest of Big Sur, California. Side one is a shadowy crawl toward a pagan sacrifice. Side two is a fast paced astral projection through the leafy canopy.
This is an incredibly limited release of just 100 records, featuring obsidian (translucent black) vinyl, and hand-painted covers (created by Fletcher) depicting the skulls of 14 different animals native to Big Sur. Limited numbers of each "skull type" are available, some animals are already sold-out.
